SOUTH Indian actress Nazriya Nazim, who is paired with Dhanush in Naiyaandi, says there are great expectations around the role.
Nazriya says while she is quite happy with the way things have turned out, she is scared as there is so much riding on the performance.
She made her debut with the Malayalam movie Palunku in 2006.
She is working in the Tamil film industry, where she is in demand and has many projects in the pipeline.
Her first Tamil film role was in with Neram, which released in May.
Nazriya said: “I am happy with the way things have turned out in my life, and also I am scared as the audience have high expectations of me, I want to do my best.”
The comedy Naiyaandi centres on a love story between a Kuthu Vilaku shop owner and a BDS student.
In Neram, the actress was paired with Nivin Pauly and the flick was directed by Alphonse Putharen.
The actress has also replaced Samantha in Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah, in which she appears opposite Jai. The film is scheduled for release in November.
Nazriya and Jai have also worked opposite each other in Raja Rani, which has yet to be released. – oneindia.in
